Sandringham Primary School’s Kitchen Garden is now a thriving and rejuvenated learning space for students, where concepts such as gardening, composting, planting, weeding, harvesting and identifying plants are shared with students of all ages throughout the school.
The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden syllabus is a recognised component of the curriculum and our Year Three and Year Four students will integrate this program into their learning, including cooking activities in the S.T.E.A.M. Room using fresh produce.
Sandringham Primary School is fortunate to have Mrs Louise Murray as our Kitchen Garden Specialist.
