Sandringham Primary School has been incredibly grateful for the kindness and support shown to our school community since the fire in early February.
We have received many offers of help, for both resources and financial support, and we have tried to create a simple way for the community to get behind Sandy Primary now and as this recovery journey unfolds.
At www.sponsorourschool.com.au we will keep you up to date with our school’s recovery progress. There is also a link to contribute funds. We know of some fundraising initiatives planned, as well as businesses keen to support Sandy Primary, and this is the way to donate those kind contributions.
We are grateful to the Sandringham Community Bank – Bendigo Bank for kicking off our recovery with a $10,000 donation. Thank you to Matthew, Brooke and the whole team.
As you will understand, there are various unknowns around the needs of our school. Insurance will cover many things. Recovering our classrooms and school environment back to where we were – a school enriched by decades of parent fundraising, teacher love and hard work – will take a village.
