Lead by our Kitchen Garden Specialist Laura Myers, our Year 6 Environment SALT (Student Action Leadership Team) group recently helped to plant five fruit trees in our new Community Orchard, to mark National Tree Planting Day.
The students planted two plum trees, a nectarine, a peach and an apricot tree. A great team effort and a wonderful legacy for them to leave for the school. Hopefully they’ll be able to literally see the fruits of their labour in the not too distant future!
