Sandringham Primary School is celebrating 170 wonderful years of educating Bayside students!
On Wednesday 6 August, 2025 – exactly 170 years to the day since this much-loved school first opened – we invite families, alumni and the local community to join us at Sandy Primary in a celebration of this special milestone.
The schedule of events for the day:
9.30am: Assembly
Led by current students and our Principal, Mrs Louise Neave.
To be held on the basketball courts.
Please allow time to park upon arrival; the street parking will be busier than usual.
10.15am to 11.00am: Open Morning
Visit classrooms, see the new buildings and experience Sandy Primary in action!
11.00am to 12pm: Morning Tea
Join us in the School Hall for light refreshments.
Sandringham Primary School holds a special place in the hearts of so many people in our community and this is a unique opportunity to celebrate one of the most historic schools in Victoria.
