Congratulations to the Prep teachers Rachel Fox, Amie McMillan, Gary Smith and Dan Zielinski who received an award for Exemplary Teaching and Learning Practice and Outstanding Commitment to Student Engagement and Personalized Learning from the Walker Learning Institute. This was fitting recognition for teachers who continually work to improve the learning opportunities for all their students. Their expertise, and that of other teachers at Sandringham, is not only acknowledged by this award but by the teachers from schools around the country who come to consult with and work with them. The outstanding learning and teaching at Sandringham Primary School was further acknowledged when we were presented with an award for Visionary and Effective Leadership. The acknowledgement of our teaching community is a wonderful way to finish the school year.
Thanks to all that attended the information night for parents of Prep students in 2012 on the 10th November. The night was to help answer any questions you may have about Prep for next year.
